JANISE COOPER has specialized in hospitality design since 1976, when she began her career under the mentorship of the renowned interior designer Howard Hirsch of Hirsch-Bedner, where she worked on such projects as the Park Hyatt Chicago; Hyatt Regency hotels in Maui, Chicago, and Minneapolis; and the Sheraton Walker Hill and Towers, Seoul, S. Korea. Since then she has collaborated with the most talented and notable firms in the hospitality industry, including Barry Design Associates, Wilson Associates, and Texeira.
Cooper’s many years of experience and dedication to excellence in the craft have made her one of the most highly respected designers in her field. Her signature passion for color and custom furnishings bring an individual, personal style to each of the multitude of properties on her list of accomplishments.
Cooper’s notable projects include Caesar’s Palace Tower Penthouse Suites. London Club at the Aladdin, and Ferrara’s Restaurant (Las Vegas), Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge (Orlando), Peninsula (Bangkok), Four Seasons (Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles), Ritz Carlton (Chicago), Omni Hotel (New York and Houston), Loews Giorgio Hotel (Denver), the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel renovation (Beverly Hills), Inn at the Opera hotel and restaurant (San Francisco), and The Epicentre Restaurant and Lounge (Los Angeles). Her residential work includes the Steve and Elaine Wynn residence (Sun Valley) and the Tim and Lisa Herbst residence (Las Vegas).
